WASHINGTON COUNTY PEACE OFFICERS HOLDING SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

  

The Washington County Peace Officers Association is inviting the community to participate in the 2026 School Supply Drive to help local students start the new school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies for students throughout Washington County. Every contribution, large or small, will help ensure local children are prepared for a successful academic year.

Donations may be dropped off at any of the following locations:

• Washington County Sheriff's Office
  1206 Old Independence Road, Brenham, TX
• Brenham Police Department
  1800 Longwood Drive, Brenham, TX
• Texas Department of Public Safety Office
  1007 Walter Schwartz Way, Brenham, TX

Donations may also be given to any member of the Washington County Peace Officers Association, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the Brenham Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), or Washington County Constables Precincts 1–4.

The deadline to donate is Wednesday, August 12.

The Washington County Peace Officers Association and its partnering agencies said they appreciate the continued generosity of the community and encourage everyone to participate. Together, they hope to ensure Washington County students have the supplies they need for a great start to the school year.
