TWO TRANSPORTED AFTER PLANE CRASH AT BRENHAM MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

  

Emergency crews are at the scene of a plane crash this (Saturday) morning at the Brenham Municipal Airport.

The City of Brenham says the single-plane crash was reported at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Details surrounding the incident are limited, but officials report that the plane suffered damage and that the two occupants were transported by Washington County EMS for treatment of minor injuries.

City of Brenham airport staff members are on scene along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Brenham Fire Department, HAZMAT, and the Meyersville, Chappell Hill and Salem Volunteer Fire Departments.

DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz said DPS is holding the scene for the Federal Aviation Administration or National Transportation Safety Board to perform investigation.
