SATURDAY LAST DAY TO VOTE IN SPRING EGGS ART WALK
Voting wraps up tomorrow (Saturday) for Main Street Brenham’s annual Spring Eggs Art Walk.
The public can vote for their favorites out of dozens of colorfully decorated eggs scatted across downtown Brenham, giving the egg artists the chance to win cash prizes.
The top prize of $200 sponsored by Kieke Egg Farm will go to the Best of Show winner. Prizes of $125 will be awarded in adult and student age divisions for Most Creative, Most Votes, Judges’ Choice and Best Easter Theme.
Adult category sponsors are The Pomegranate, Hermann Furniture, Floyd’s Lounge, and The Haley Family. Student category sponsors are Doug Peck Studios, The Book Nook, Upchurch Architects, and Schleider Furniture & Mattress Co.
Paper ballots are available at the Brenham Washington County Visitor Center and all participating sponsors.
The winners of the Art Walk will be announced on Thursday.
There is also an online auction at https://cityofbrenham.org to bid on the eggs. Auction proceeds will be split between the egg artist and Main Street Brenham, and will be presented in addition to any prize winnings.
