BLINN CLAY SHOOTOUT RAISES RECORD $138,000

Blinn College’s Clay Shootout earlier this month has become the most successful fundraiser in Blinn’s history.

The sold-out event, held on April 5th at the Boswell Porter 4-H Shotgun Range in Burleson County, raised a record $138,000.  Hosted by the Blinn Alumni and Friends and Buccaneer Alumni Lettermen Associations, it is the largest annual fundraiser benefitting Blinn athletic programs and students.

Blinn College Foundation Executive Director Susan Myers says the College is thrilled with the level of support from the public and thanks everyone who was involved in organizing and backing the event.

Myers said meetings will start next week to begin planning next year’s event and discuss how to make it even better.
