BRENHAM MAN BOOKED FOR CHILD SEX ASSAULT WARRANT
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man was arrested on Friday on a warrant for child sex assault.
Shortly after 3 p.m., Brenham police officers conducted a warrant service on Farmers Road, where 32-year-old Caleb Gene McCarty was taken into custody on a warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child.
Police say the warrant was issued as a result of an ongoing investigation led by Detective Alex Saenz with the Brenham Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
The case remains under investigation, and police say no further information will be released at this time.
The department says it remains committed to protecting children and thoroughly investigating allegations of abuse.
