PICKARD HIGH SCHOOL REUNION ASSOCIATION TO HOST SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET SATURDAY
The Pickard High School Reunion Association is getting ready for its scholarship banquet tomorrow (Saturday).

The banquet will begin at 4 p.m. at the Blinn College Student Center banquet room.
Scheduled to speak at the event is Dr. Constance Cole Blunt, a Brenham native and 2003 graduate of Brenham High School. Dr. Blunt currently serves as a medical director for cancer outreach and prevention at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr. Blunt received a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from Baylor University in Waco. She later obtained her Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center in Temple. In 2018, she completed her hematology and oncology fellowship training at LSU Health Science Center. She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
In addition to the keynote speech, the banquet will recognize outstanding students with scholarships.
