43 VOTERS THROUGH FOUR DAYS IN BURTON ISD ELECTION

Early voting slowed on Thursday in the Burton ISD school board election.

Numbers from Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson show five people voted on Thursday.  There have been 43 early voters thus far.

The total is slightly below the 44 voters that the May 2023 trustee election brought in during the first four days, but it still exceeds the 35 voters through the same timeframe in the May 2021 election.

Early voting continues today (Friday), Monday and Tuesday at the Washington County Courthouse Annex, with hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Election Day is Saturday, May 4th.
