MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE AT BRENHAM AMERICAN LEGION HALL

  

Washington County residents are invited today (Monday) to remember fallen veterans.

The Washington County Veterans Association will host its annual Memorial Day program at the Brenham American Legion Hall at 11 a.m.

Monica Stephenson, a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major, will be the keynote speaker.

A barbecue chicken and sausage meal will be served after the program.  Plates will be available dine-in or drive-thru.  There will also be a cakewalk.

Meal tickets are $15.  A limited number will be sold at the door.  The program is free and open to all who wish to attend.

KWHI will broadcast the program live on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com, starting at 10:45 a.m.
