TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOPS
Two men were arrested in separate incidences Thursday after traffic stops.
Brenham Police report that Thursday afternoon at 12:50, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 800 block of Highway 290 East. Marijuana was found in the vehicle during a search and the driver, De Marcus De Shawn Dixon, 19 of Hempstead, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Thursday afternoon at 3:45, Officer Le’Darion Jenkins initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. The driver Herbert Milton Hammond III, 62 of Manor, was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid, Enhanced and transported to the Washington County Jail.
