MADISON MORAN RECEIVES TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF FAIRS & EVENTS SCHOLARSHIP

  

Recent Brenham High School graduate and past Washington County Fair exhibitor Madison Moran is one of ten students across the state to receive a scholarship from the Texas Association of Fairs and Events (TAFE).

Each year, the TAFE Education Foundation awards ten $2,000 scholarships to deserving young people from its member events to help them further their education and achieve their future goals. 

The Foundation says of the students, “Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.”

Funds for the scholarship program are raised by the Association during its annual convention, next scheduled for January 9-11, 2025 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Two other area students were also among those who received scholarships, those being Cooper Mau of the Fayette County Fair and Zachary Smith of the Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo.
