FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY

  

Four people were arrested Sunday for various charges.

Brenham Police report that early Sunday morning at 2:00, Corporal Tina Bruno responded to the 1100 block of Green Street regarding a disturbance. Anthony Robert Talamantez, 21 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for an active warrant; Speeding issued out of Brenham Municipal Court. Talamantez was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.

Then early Sunday morning at 2:50, Corporal Tina Bruno responded to a reported disturbance on the 1700 block of North Park Street. Kevin Paul Bledsoe, Jr., 28 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for an active warrant for Assault Family Violence. Bledsoe was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.

Then Sunday night at 11:00, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Highway 290 West. Probable cause was developed through the odor of marijuana. The driver, Edgard Quinones Lopez, 27 of Houston, was taken into custody for an active warrant; Probation Violation (Possession Controlled Substance) issued out of Milam County, and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. The passenger, Kevin Woods, 28 of Groves, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
