TRAFFIC CRASH IN CHAPPELL HILL SATURDAY MORNING
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred early this (Saturday) morning in Chappell Hill.
Emergency crews were dispatched the 8900 block of Highway 290 East at 12:30am.
According to the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department, a pickup truck collided head on with a semi-truck and trailer.
While no information on the occupants of the vehicle is available yet, DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz told KWHI that there were no reported injuries from the crash.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for nearly two hours to assist with traffic control and clean fluids and debris from the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under a further investigation.
