WINTER WEATHER CLOSURES, DELAYS

  

Due to the winter weather expected to arrive tonight (Monday), several school districts have announced altered schedules.

Brenham and Burton ISDs will not have class Tuesday.  The districts say they will monitor weather and road conditions and will communicate updates regarding plans for Wednesday as soon as possible. 

All Blinn College District campuses will be closed on Tuesday, and all classes are cancelled. 

Texas A&M is cancelling classes at the Bryan-College Station campus on Tuesday and is keeping an eye on conditions to make a decision about campus operations and classes for Wednesday. 

St. Paul’s Christian Day School in Brenham has cancelled classes for Tuesday. 

Grace Lutheran School in Brenham will not have classes on Tuesday.

Kiddie Korner Day Care School in Brenham will be closed Tuesday.

Bread Partners of Washington County will not have its Tuesday distribution at the Washington County Expo.

Round Top-Carmine ISD has cancelled class for Tuesday. 

La Grange ISD has cancelled all classes and activities on Tuesday. 

Fayetteville ISD is cancelling all classes and activities on Tuesday. 

Bellville ISD will not have class on Tuesday and will operate on a 2-hour delayed start on Wednesday.

Sealy ISD will not have school on Tuesday and will run on a 2-hour delayed start on Wednesday.

Navasota ISD has cancelled all classes and activities for Tuesday.

Iola ISD will be closed on Tuesday.

Anderson-Shiro CISD will be closed on Tuesday, and all extracurricular activities are cancelled. 

Somerville ISD will be closed on Tuesday, and all after-school activities are cancelled.

Caldwell ISD schools and facilities will be closed on Tuesday.

Snook ISD will be closed on Tuesday. 

Giddings ISD will be closed on Tuesday.

Columbus ISD will be closed on Tuesday, and all classes and extracurricular activities are cancelled.

Hempstead ISD schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Waller ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Prairie View A&M University will close on Tuesday and shift to virtual operations on Wednesday.
