WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR BRENHAM PD INCLUDE BOOKINGS FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, DWI, FAMILY ASSAULT
Brenham police reported five arrests between midday Saturday and early this (Monday) morning.
Just after noon on Saturday, officers responded to the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street in response to a reported disturbance. After investigation, police arrested 21-year-old Ismael Salazar of Austin for Criminal Mischief $100 - $750 and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. Salazar was transported and booked into the Washington County Jail.
Around 9:45 p.m., Corporal Tina Bruno stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of South Market Street for a traffic violation. Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and had five active warrants. 35-year-old Juliano Antonio Lazcano of Houston was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd, Reckless Driving, Driving While License Invalid, and five active warrants for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Deadly Conduct, Driving While Intoxicated – Blood Alcohol Content 0.15 or More, Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Lazcano was transported to the Washington County Jail.
At 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of South Market Street. Investigation revealed that the driver, 45-year-old Brian Hutchinson of Brenham, was allegedly in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hutchinson was placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Approaching 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of FM 389 regarding a physical disturbance. After investigation, 41-year-old Allen George Wilson III of Brenham was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
Around 12:30 a.m. today, Officer Downs stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Highway 290 East. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver, 27-year-old Tanner Iselt-Alexander of Waller, was driving while intoxicated and failed standardized field sobriety testing. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container and taken to the Washington County Jail.
