TERRY GAMBLE LEAVING BLINN FOR WEST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY

The man who has led the Blinn Buccaneer Volleyball program back to national prominence over the past seven seasons is moving on.

Terry Gamble was introduced on Tuesday as the new Head Volleyball Coach at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.

This past season at Blinn, Gamble guided the Buccaneers to a 38-4 overall record, a Region XIV Championship, and their fifth straight appearance in the National Championship Tournament. Gamble was named as the Region XIV Coach of the Year.

He is also an NJCAA Volleyball Hall of Famer with 1,102 career wins.

"I want to thank Doug Lipinski, Kimberly Dudley, the search committee and the administration at WT for trusting me with one of the top volleyball programs in the country" said Gamble "I also want to thank Blinn College for giving me the opportunity the past seven years to coach at a wonderful place. I'm excited to be a part of Buff Nation and to join the Canyon community."
