SIX CUBETTES AND A LADY PANTHER TAKE PART IN REGION VII POWERLIFTING MEET
The Girls Regional Powerlifting Meet was held this past Saturday in Del Valle. Out of the six Cubettes that participated in the meet, Kaleigh Daniels was the lone qualifier for the State Powerlifting Meet. Daniels finished second in the 132-lb. division with a combined lift of 680 pounds. The State Meet is Saturday, March 15, in Edinburg.
Other finishes include Marlie Dixon, 9th in the 148-lb. Division, with a combined lift of 615 pounds, Camila Rodriguez finished 12th in the 148-lb. Division, with a combined lift of 585 pounds, And Khaliah Jeffrey finished 10th in the 242+lb. Division, with a combined lift of 640 pounds.
Madi Merkley and Keanna Lor also competed but were unable to finish the meet.
Meanwhile, Avery Applewhite of Burton competed in the 132-lb. division and finished 6th overall. She had a combined lift of 615 pounds.
