FLASHPOINT BAND TO TAKE STAGE FOR ‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’ SATURDAY
The party is coming to downtown Brenham tomorrow (Saturday) for week two of “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes”.
The Flashpoint Band out of Houston will bring a mix of classic rock, Motown and contemporary hits. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Commerce Street parking lot.
Visitors will also be able to see a variety of classic vehicles in the Stray Katz Car Club’s cruise-in on Commerce Street. Food and drinks will be available from local businesses and vendors. Additionally, as part of National Ice Cream Month, Blue Bell will be giving out free hand-dipped ice cream next to Green Grain Events from 6 to 8 p.m.
The concert is sponsored by Blue Bell Creameries, Citizens State Bank, Strand Associates and Valmont Industries.
