PORTION OF STONE STREET TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY FOR WASTEWATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT

  

A section of Stone Street in Brenham will close down starting tomorrow (Wednesday) to allow work crews to complete a water and wastewater main replacement project.

The City of Brenham is contracting with JTM Construction, LLC to perform the water main replacement on Church Street. 

The street closure on Stone Street will run from Austin Street to South Park Street and will last for approximately three days.  Traffic will be detoured. 

Work zones and traffic control will be present where construction is taking place.  City staff and contractors will work with residents to ensure access to and from residences throughout the process.

The city asks for patience with work crews and zones, in order to minimize the impact on local residents.
