BURTON FFA DAIRY CATTLE TEAM EARNS 8TH PLACE AT STATE CONTEST
The Burton FFA Dairy Cattle Team notched a top-ten finish at the State FFA Contest on Thursday.
The team of Hailey Rudloff, Kolbie Parker, Lena Ruemke and Mia Odom placed eighth overall at the contest at Tarleton State University. A total of 61 teams competed.
Odom earned the ranking of 19th High Point Individual, while Rudloff was 20th High Point Individual.
The team earned its state berth after placing sixth at the Tarleton State University Area Contest earlier this month.
Another competition for Burton FFA is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday), as the Livestock Team prepares for its state contest at Texas A&M University. The team is made up of Hailey Rudloff, Paige Fritsch, Taylor Groce and Bailey Glaesmann.
