BRENHAM MCJROTC WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, OTHER ACCOLADES AT ALL SERVICE DRILL COMPETITION
The Brenham High School MCJROTC has claimed a national championship title from the All Service Drill Competition held this past weekend in Florida.
Cadets were crowned national champions in the Unarmed Division Color Guard. The Unarmed Team as a whole placed fourth overall, coming only 14 points shy of first place against schools and programs across the country.
Students also placed second in Unarmed Regulation and fifth in Unarmed Inspection.
Additionally, for the first time, the Brenham cadets competed in Unarmed Duo Exhibition against over 35 teams, earning two trophies out of five available. Asusena Rodriguez and Valeria Alfaro placed second, while Karyme Bernal and Naomi Turrubiartes placed fifth.
Over 90 schools competed across three divisions at the All Service Drill Competition, with Brenham competing in the Master Division against the nation’s best programs.
