DR. MICHAEL SCHLABACH TO DISCUSS OLD WASHINGTON CEMETERY ON TUMBLEWEED SMITH’S ‘THE SOUND OF TEXAS’

  

Efforts to restore the historic cemetery in Old Washington are the focus of tomorrow’s (Tuesday) edition of Tumbleweed Smith’s “The Sound of Texas” on KWHI.

Dr. Michael Schlabach, chair of the Washington County Historical Commission’s cemetery committee, will discuss the history of the old community of Washington and what is being done to reclaim the cemetery, which had for years been unattended.

“The Sound of Texas” can be heard every Monday through Saturday around 7:20 a.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
