BRENHAM CROSS COUNTRY HOSTED AND COMPETED AT HILLACIOUS

The Brenham High School Cross Country Teams both hosted and competed in the "Hillacious" Invitational in Brenham on Saturday morning.

For the Boys 5A-6A 5K Varsity Run, the overall winning team was Katy Tompkins. Carter Maloy, who is from Katy Tompkins, finished first place individually with a time of 15 minutes, 29.4 seconds.

As a team, the Brenham Cubs finished 25th overall. Individual scores were:

Jayden Jackson - 18 minutes, 35.5 seconds

Corbin Schulens - 18 minutes, 45.9 seconds

Teaarsyn McBride - 20 minutes, 11.2 seconds

Hayden Hatfield - 21 minutes, 59.9 seconds

Isaac Aguilar - 24 minutes, 49.7 seconds

For the Girls 5A-6A Varsity Run, the Cubettes finished 18th overall. A&M Consolidated was the overall winning team. Rowen Skinner of A&M Consolidated was the overall female winner with a time of 17 minutes and 42.1 seconds.
