TWO MORE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Two people plead guilty to felony offenses in the 21st District Court and 335th District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.
38-year-old Andrea Shamon Harris of Chappell Hill was sentenced to seven years in prison for a third-degree felony charge of Bail Jumping/Failure to Appear. He received an additional seven-year prison term for a State Jail Felony Enhanced Charge of Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less Than Five Items
Harris was also sentenced to a third seven-year prison term for a State Jail Felony Enhanced Charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 Less Than One Gram.
He was also sentenced to 158 days in the Washington County Jail for a State Jail Felon Charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less than One Gram.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Daylynn Marie Black of Brenham was placed on four years of probation for a third-degree felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, One to Four Grams.
She will also have to pay a $500 fine, court costs, a court appointed attorney fee, a $180 lab fee, and $50 Crime Stoppers fee.
In addition to that, she will have to perform 100 hours of community service, undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, take part in a drug offender education program, provide a DNA sample, and urinalysis.
