CUBETTE SOCCER PLAYS COLLEGE STATION TO A 1-1 TIE

The Brenham Cubettes opened up District 17-5A Competition on Tuesday night by playing College Station to a 1-1 tie at Cub Stadium.

Brenham was trailing 1-0 with about 14 minutes left in the second half, when Hiromi Gonzalez scored to tie it up.

With the tie, Brenham is now 8-0-1 on the season. College Station is now 4-2-2.

Next up, the Cubettes are off Friday for a bye. The rest of the District 17-5A games have been moved up to Thursday due to threat of inclement weather.

Brenham will next go on the road to Montgomery on Tuesday, January 27. The JV plays at 5pm, followed by the Varsity at 7pm.
