HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL SEASON OPENS
The Brenham Cubette Softball Team will open the 2026 season later this (Tuesday) evening as they get set to host the Caldwell Lady Hornets.
The first pitch is scheduled for 5pm from Alumni Field in Brenham. Tommy Lange and I will have the call of the action beginning with the pregame at 4:35pm right here on KWHI 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.
Meanwhile, the Burton Lady Panthers were supposed to open their season against La Grange tonight (Tuesday). however, that game has been canceled. So, the Lady Panthers will now have to wait until Friday for their season opener. They are scheduled to host Manor New Tech at 5pm in Burton.
