CHAPPELL HILL CHAMBER TO HOLD ANNUAL MAY ARTWALK

  

The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is inviting artists to participate in the 7th Annual Main Street Chappell Hill Working Artist ArtWalk.

The ArtWalk and Call for Entry is taking place on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This unique community event gives the public an opportunity to meet artists and watch them create original works in real time along historic Main Street.

Selected artists will produce an “open subject matter” piece in two-dimensional media of their choice during the ArtWalk. Both jurors and attendees will vote on the finished works, with cash prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and People’s Choice.

Artists interested in participating are encouraged to apply soon, as space is available but limited.

Applicants must submit three images of their work along with a brief biography for juror review.

Selected artists will pay a $30 entry fee, with an additional $10 fee for each extra piece entered.

Artists should be prepared to bring their own supplies, including easels and seating, and will be set up at various locations along Main Street, including covered porches, decks, and indoor spaces.

The deadline to apply is May 9, 2026.
