OPEN HOUSE FOR BURTON-SOUTHERN CLINIC NEXT WEEK
The public is invited to an upcoming Open House and Ribbon Cutting for the new Burton-Southern Clinic.
The Burton-Southern Clinic is located at 235 North Colorado Street next to EMS Station #3.
The ribbon cutting and open house are scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, at 12 noon.
The Clinic is named in honor of Dr. Charles Everett Southern, who once operated the Burton Hospital on North Brazos Street.
Dr. Southern eventually sold the hospital , because it had grown to be too much for one person to have the sole responsibility to run day and night.
The transportation team of the Burton Bridge Ministry is going to be available to drive patients to the clinic for behavioral and physical health services.
Helping to partner with the Burton-Southern Clinic is Texas A&M for behavioral health, and Texas Tech Family Medicine for physical health.
