THREE CUBETTES AND SIX LADY PANTHERS MAKE THE THSCA ACADEMIC ALL STATE SOFTBALL TEAM

The Texas High School Coaches Association has released the list of Softball players that made the 2026 Academic All-State Team.

The list contains the names of three Brenham Cubettes and six Burton Lady Panthers.

To qualify for the Academic All-State Team, students must meet the following criteria:

1.) a student, manager, or trainer in good standing with the team

2.) a good moral character

3.) a senior

4.) maintain a grade point average of 92 or above

For the Brenham Cubettes, Kylie Baker, Kate Martin, and McKenzie Tiemann were each named to the Academic All-State Second Team.

For the Burton Lady Panthers, Paige Fritsch and Melanie Wood were named Academic All-State First Team, Aerynn Huntsman and student manager Kolbie Parker were named Academic All-State Second Team, and Abby Dowling and Amaya Williams were named Academic All-State Honorable Mention.
