JOINT LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATION LEADS TO ARREST AND WEAPONS SEIZURE

  

A joint law enforcement operation in the community of Clay has led to one arrest and the seizure of weapons.

The Texas Department of Public Safety released a statement that their Criminal Investigations Division along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the Brenham Police Department conducted a joint weapons and narcotics investigation on Tuesday in Clay.

That operation led to the seizure of weapons, as well as the arrest of a fugitive.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the person in custody.

DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz told KWHI News that no other information can be released at this time due to it being an active and ongoing investigation.
