CUBS’ QUINCY ADAMS GOING TO UIL STATE TRACK MEET
The Brenham Cub Track Team will have a representative at the UIL State Meet this year. Quincy Adams took home first place at the Regional Meet in the Triple Jump with a distance of 45 feet and 11 inches.
The Regional Meet was held Challenger Columbia Stadium in Webster, which is part of Clear Creek ISD.
Adams also took part in the Long Jump, where he finished 10th overall with a distance of 20 feet and 35 inches.
Others taking part in the Regional Meet include:
Hakiera Williams finished 7th in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.84.
The 4x400 Meter Relay Team, which consisted of Willie Fuller, Christopher Hudgens, Tre'Lyn Kelly, and Tylik Williams finished 10th in the prelims, and didn't qualify for the finals.
The 4x200 Meter Relay Team, which consisted of Cartelle Brown, De'Pauldrick Moore, Ledrick Walker, and Tylik Williams finished 13th in the prelims, and also did not qualify for the finals.
Adams moves on to the UIL State Rack Meet being held on Friday, May 15, at Michael Myers Stadium on the University of Texas Campus in Austin.
