BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION, LICENSE WARRANTS

  

A Brenham man was arrested Monday night by Brenham police for possession of a controlled substance and a pair of warrants.

Close to 11 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a crash on Highway 36 South.  When attempting to locate the crash, Officer Rolling came across a vehicle parked near Highway 36 South and Pleasant Hill School Road. 

After further investigation, police found that the passenger of the vehicle was reportedly concealing narcotics.

Police say 19-year-old Erick Santiago Ramirez of Brenham was allegedly in possession of THC vape pens and had two active warrants out of Brenham Municipal Court for No Driver’s License.

Ramirez was placed into custody for his two warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.  He was transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.
