The largest individual permit for the month was for $300,000, issued to Rally Room to perform interior remodeling at 216 West Alamo Street for the new business.
The Brenham Historic Preservation Board in March granted a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the owner of the property, Rachael Beseda, to proceed with redeveloping the building. The plans call for a full commercial kitchen, bar, and a second-floor mezzanine to host sports teams, parties or other large groups.
Two permits were issued last month to PK’s 4 Way Properties LLC totaling $226,000, in reference to its gas station at 1703 Highway 105. The permits are for the installation of new underground fuel storage tanks, as well as parking lot improvements and a fuel canopy.
