GRAMMY WINNER AND WIFE PERFORMING AT ST. CECILIA’S ROUND TOP

Saint Cecilia's Round Top in Henkel Square is inviting the public to attend a special performance this Saturday evening.
The evening features Grammy-award winning songwriter Marcus Hummon and his wife Becca Stevens
The presentation, which is entitled, “Starry Nights and Longing Prayers: An Evening of Songs and Stories” begins on Saturday at 5:45 p.m.
Grammy winner, and two-time Songwriter's Hall of Fame nominee, Marcus Hummon has enjoyed a successful career as a songwriter, recording artist, composer, playwright and author. His best-known hits are Bless the Broken Road (Rascal Flatts), Cowboy Take Me Away and Ready to Run (The Chicks), Born to Fly (Sara Evans), One of These Days (Tim McGraw), and Only Love (Winona). In 2005, Bless the Broken Road won the Grammy for Best Country Song.
Becca Stevens is a nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, priest, survivor and founder and President of Thistle Farms.
Thistle Farms was founded in 1997 with a single home for survivors of trafficking and addiction. Today it is a global movement for women's freedom and recovery. She is also the author of 12 books and has served as chaplain at St. Augustine's Chapel at Vanderbilt University for 30 years.
“Starry Nights and Longing Prayers, a Night of Storytelling and Songs” is a free event that is open to the public with all donations and merchandise sales benefiting Thistle Farms Outreach. There is plenty of free parking near Henkel Square.
