WELLMANN INSURANCE ACQUIRES MILLER INSURANCE OF NAVASOTA

  

Wellmann Insurance Agency has announced that they are expanding into Grimes County.

Wellmann Insurance, which is based in Brenham, and has offices in Giddings and Bryan, recently acquired Miller Insurance Agency in Navasota.

In a press release announcing the merger, it was stated that the respective owners, David Wellmann and Bert Miller, have known each other for many years, both in a professional manner and in civic organizations.

Bert Miller assured clients in a statement that nothing will change, that they will not be impacted in any way, and there will not be any disruption in their client support.

He added that Miller Insurance and Wellmann Insurance will both maintain their independent offices and continue to provide their clients with the same great services as before, but with a wider range of markets, and better pricing to offer them.

Miller Insurance Agency was formed in 1947 by William Albert Miller and Margie Miller.

Wellmann Insurance Agency was formed by David Wellmann in 1992 with the merger of Ehlert Insurance and Lange and Associates Insurance.

David Wellmann reiterated that nothing will change, and instead the merger of the two agencies is going to make them both stronger.

He also said that they look forward to continuing to serve their clients in both communities for many years to come.
