BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR MEMORIAL DAY
City of Brenham and Washington County offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library and all county facilities will be closed.
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will have special hours for Memorial Day weekend:
- Friday, May 23rd – indoor pools open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Saturday, May 24th – outdoor pool open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; indoor pools open 3 to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, May 25th – all pools open 1 to 5 p.m.
- Monday, May 26th – all pools open 1 to 5 p.m.
Regular summer hours for the Aquatic Center start on Tuesday, May 27th.
The Brenham Washington County Visitor Center will remain open on Monday with hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will have normal hours on Monday. Residential and commercial trash pick-up will continue on a regular schedule.
The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Monday. Bluebonnet members can access their account information and make payments by going to https://bluebonnet.coop, using the MyBluebonnet mobile app or calling 800-842-7708. Power outages can be reported through the website or app, by calling 800-949-4414, or texting OUT to 85700 through Bluebonnet Outage Alerts.
