BURTON BASEBALL TO FACE SHINER FOR THE REGION CHAMPIONSHIP

In High School Baseball, the Class 2A Division II Region IV Championship gets underway tonight (Wednesday).

The Burton Panthers (26-4) face off against the Shiner Comanches (23-1).

The Panthers are the Champions from District 26-2A, while the Comanches are the Champions from District 29-2A.

Darrell Kieke and I will have live coverage this (Wednesday) evening on KWHI 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com beginning with the pregame at 6:30pm. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm at Elgin High School.

The winner of this game faces the winner of the Beckville-Overton 2 out of 3 series in the State Semifinals next week.

There will not be an open concession stand at the game.
