THREE CUB BASEBALL PLAYERS SELECTED TO GHBCA FUTURES GAME
Three members of the Brenham Cub Baseball Team have been selected to the Greater Houston Baseball Coaches Association Futures Game.
P/1B Luke Hardy, 3B Owen Finke, and P/1B Brayden Steele will be taking part in the Annual All-Star Game.
They are coming off a season in which the Cubs won the District 17-5A Championship, and went two rounds deep in the playoffs. Hardy was the unanimous choice for District MVP, while Finke and Steele were both unanimously selected First Team All-District.
Hardy and Finke will be part of the Red Team, while Steele will be on the Navy Team.
The GHBCA Futures game is next Tuesday, June 2, at 7pm at St. Thomas High School in Houston.
