NEW ULM VFD AWARDED $300,000 FOREST SERVICE GRANT

The New Ulm Volunteer Fire Department will be able to boost its capabilities, thanks to a $300,000 grant from the Texas A&M Forest Service.
The department says it will use the grant for a 2,000 gallon tanker.
Combined with community donations, the department says the grant will greatly aid in its water carrying capacity and overall firefighting abilities. It thanks everyone for their support in making this possible.
