CHAPPELL HILL CHAMBER TO HOST FLAG DAY CEREMONY

  

In honor of the America 250 celebration, the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to a special Flag Day Ceremony on Sunday, June 14.

Prior to the ceremony, they are having a community potluck at Grapevine on Main from 12 noon-12:45pm. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a covered dish of your choice.  

The ceremony will follow at the Providence Church located at 5175 Main Street in Chappell Hill.

The program is scheduled for a 1pm start time.

James F. Dillon VFW Post 7104 Commander Ben Seeker will be the keynote speaker.

His address is entitled, “The Story of Our Star Spangled Banner and Why She Must Never Touch the Ground.”

Following the program, there will be a Flag Etiquette demonstration, and light refreshments are going to be served.
