BRENHAM WOMAN BOOKED FOR INJURY CHARGE & ASSAULT WARRANT

A Brenham woman was arrested on Thursday on an injury charge and an active assault warrant.
At 12:15 p.m., Brenham Police Sergeant Crystal Buckner, Corporal Grayson Marburger, and Officers Trinten Rolling and Navone Gurley responded to the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive in reference to a welfare concern.
According to police, their investigation revealed that 29-year-old Alineicia Ewing had allegedly assaulted a family member and had an active warrant out of Washington County for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
Ewing was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked for the warrant and for Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with Intentional Bodily Injury.
