TOURISM ADVISORY BOARD TO HEAR REPORTS ON SPRING, SUMMER ACTIVITIES

  

The Brenham Tourism Advisory Board will go through several reports and updates at its meeting on Thursday.

Board members will first review the Visit Brenham/Washington County Destination Marketing Organization’s third-quarter report for Fiscal Year 2026, presenting highlights for April, May and June.

Next, staff from Washington County will present quarterly highlights regarding the Washington County Expo, as well as information on hotel occupancy tax grant applications and feedback from the Stars Over Washington County Fourth of July celebration.

Lastly, the board will hear an administrative report covering tourism staffing and programming, the Texas Music Friendly Community memorandum of understanding, and the board’s meeting calendar.

The board will meet Thursday at 9 a.m. in Morriss Hall at The Barnhill Center.
