BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR FAMILY VIOLENCE WARRANT, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE & MARIJUANA

  

Brenham police arrested one person on Tuesday for a family violence warrant and another early this (Wednesday) morning for marijuana and controlled substance possession.

At 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Darrell Nunn conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of South Chappell Hill Street.  After further investigation, police determined that the driver of the vehicle had an active warrant out of the Brenham Police Department.  20-year-old Jaquan Dewayne Daniels of Brenham was taken into custody for Continuous Violence Against the Family and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Just before 6 a.m. today, Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop near Highway 36 North and North Park Street for a vehicle violation.  During the investigation, 46-year-old Eduardo A. Machado Ledesma of Houston was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.  Ledesma was taken to the Washington County Jail.
