TEXAS SENATE DISTRICT 18 COUNTYWIDE MEETING TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 22

  

The Washington County Republican Club and the Republican Club of Brenham are hosting an upcoming Texas Senate District 18 Countywide Meeting.

The meeting is being held on Saturday, August 22, from 9am-3pm at the Cannery Kitchen located at 314 East Alamo Street in Brenham.

Senate District 18 consists of Aransas, Austin, Burleson, Calhoun, DeWitt, Fayette, Goliad, Gonzales, Grimes, Lavaca, Lee, Refugio, Victoria, and Washington counties, along with portions of Fort Bend, Montgomery, and Waller counties.

The meeting is for conservatives from across the district to hear from state leaders, elected officials, and advocates on issues that matter to their communities and to the future.

Speakers will include State Senator Lois Kolkhorst, Joel Romo, who will be speaking on behalf of Representative Trey Wharton, new Senate District 18 Committee Chairwoman Katy Jackson, Committee Chairman Bill Pozzi, First Court of Appeals Place 4 Justice David Gunn, Carine Martinez from Governor Abbott’s Get Out the Vote app, Luke Tschritter from Congressman Michael Cloud’s Office, Barbara Isaacs, and James Pressler.

In addition to the speakers, there will also be a small complimentary continental breakfast available, and a charcuterie style lunch will be provided.
