The Washington County Fair was recognized with a pair of honors at the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) Finals this past Saturday at the Waller County Fair in Hempstead.

The Washington County Fair was named Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year and also the sixth-highest-paying rodeo of the year.

In a release from the Washington County Fair Association, it said, “These honors recognize the Washington County Fair’s continued commitment to providing a quality professional rodeo experience for contestants and fans while supporting the tradition of rodeo in Washington County.”
