GIBBOUS MOON PRODUCTIONS TO PERFORM “DANI GIRL”
Gibbous Moon Productions, a local non-profit theatre production company, will be performing “Dani Girl” by Christopher Dimond and Michael Kooman. This production about a nine year old and her struggle with leukemia is both imaginative and heartbreaking. “We were honored to be able to partner with Adams Angels Ministry to tell this story and they have been very supportive with advice and helping us prepare for this production. Gibbous Moon Productions has been overwhelmed with support from the community and we wanted to give something back with one of our productions. Also, some of our founding members have returned home for the college winter break and will be performing alongside many new members of the company as we continue to grow,” stated Andrew Mueller, Executive Director/Producer for Gibbous Moon Productions. “
Gibbous Moon Productions was founded in 2016 and currently two of their founding members are pursuing their theatre careers at Oklahoma City University and New York University. “Dani Girl” will be performed on Saturday, January 6 at 7PM, Calvary Baptist Church, 1100 Niebuhr Street, Brenham, Texas. Admission is free, and donations are encouraged and all proceeds will benefit Adams Angels Ministries. “We want to thank Calvary Baptist Church for allowing us to use their sanctuary for this production and they have also offered to provide light refreshment for the audience. We encourage the community to come take in this great show and support these performers,” concluded Mueller. Press Release and images courtesy of Gibbous Moon Productions.
