DAVID STALL TALKS ABOUT HIS CAMPAIGN

This week, KWHI is talking with the 5 candidates that are running for the Republican nomination for the District 13 State Representative seat. Today, we are talking with Fayette County resident David Stall. Stall says he is seeing a groundswell of support and his campaign is going well. Stall says he sees property tax reform as the key issue in this race:
Stall says his solution to rising property taxes involves looking at both sides of the leger sheet:
Stall says that he is very pro public education and wants to make sure the state doesn’t take away any resources from public education. He says he is opposed to education vouchers or other schemes that would take money away from our public schools.
Governor Greg Abbott has set a special election for May 5th to fill the unexpired term of former District 13 State Representative Leighton Schubert. Stall says that he is filing for the special election and says it is crucial for seniority reasons:
Stall says that having strong public education is particularly critical to rural Texas. He says that public education provides the workforce that is needed to develop and attract industries to our area and prevent migration to the population centers. Stall says that in that way we can maintain a healthy rural economy.
