LCRA EMPLOYEES VOLUNTEER FOR STEPS FORWARD DAY

This Friday, hundreds of LCRA employees will be volunteering in projects throughout the area as part of LCRA Steps Forward Day.  Volunteers will be working at Henderson Park in Brenham replacing the fence guard around the ball field and painting the restroom facilities.  They will also be busy picking up trash along the shoreline at Lake Somerville.

During the annual day of service, more than 650 LCRA volunteers will fan out across LCRA’s service territory to work on projects. In previous years, volunteers with LCRA have built and installed bat racks at the Little League fields in Brenham and painted the batting cage and concession stand at Henderson Park.
