TONIGHT’S JUNIOR CORONATION WILL CONTINUE AS PLANNED FOR NOW

The Brenham Maifest Association has decided to continue with the planned Junior Coronation this evening at Fireman’s Park.  The Maifest board said they checked with multiple weather sources including speaking with meteorologist before making the decision.  The board said it was a difficult call, and the safety of the participants and volunteers is their priority, but they felt holding the coronation tonight at Fireman’s Park was their best option.

Light rain may be falling during tonight’s Junior Coronation, and the board encouraged parents to send umbrellas and ponchos with the participants.

KWHI will announce any last minute changes to the Maifest schedule or you can check the Brenham Maifest Facebook page.
