WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING TUESDAY OVER LOCAL SPEED LIMITS

  

Washington County Commissioners will hear comments from the public regarding the posting of a speed limit on South Berlin Road at Tuesday’s meeting.

The Court will hold a public hearing for requests concerning the speed limit in Precinct 3.  Following the hearing, Commissioners will consider the approval of the measure.

The Court will also look at entering into an inter-local agreement between Washington County and the Brazos Valley Council of Governments for COGNet broadband internet services.

The Court will also look at a subdivision variance request for land fronting Lorena Lane and State Highway 237.

In addition, Commissioners will recognize the success of Faith Mission’s SMART Program, which has provided local youth with numerous summertime activities.

The Commissioners Court will meet next Tuesday at 9 a.m., in the Washington County Courthouse Chambers.
