CUBS/PANTHERS SET BI-DISTRICT FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

The Brenham Cubs will host Boerne Champion in the Bi-District round of the Region IV/5A Playoffs, Friday night.

The Cubs (6-4/5-2) will host the Chargers (7-3/5-2), Friday night at 7:30 at Cubs Stadium in Brenham.

The game will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com , with the pregame show at 7:00.

The winner of Friday’s game will face the winner of the Bi-District playoff between Sharyland and Somerset.

The Burton Panthers are set to face Chilton, Thursday night in the Region IV/2A Playoffs.

The Panthers (7-2/4-0) will square off with the Pirates (1-9/1-3) at Merrill Green Stadium in Bryan at 7:00, Thursday night.

The game will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com , with the pregame show at 6:30.

The winner of the Thursday night matchup will face the winner between Bruni and LaPryor.
